Lujamo is a small Finnish family business specialising in app development. We design and build people-centred apps and digital solutions that address real needs and bring practical benefits to their users.
Alongside app development, we offer idea development, sparring and consulting, as well as project planning, management and delivery. We can help at different stages of development, from clarifying an initial idea to launching a working app and developing it further.
We also develop our own products, such as ValmiusTurva, an app focused on safety and preparedness.
Our work starts with people and their real needs. We want to understand what could make everyday life or activities easier, and what kind of app or other digital solution would help. We are particularly interested in issues that matter to society, while remaining open to new ideas, industries and experiments.

Lujamo is built on the idea that good app development starts with listening. People’s experiences, everyday challenges and even small observations can be the starting point for an app that benefits many.
We want to build a company where these ideas can be explored: asking questions, experimenting, learning and moving things forward. Sometimes a completely new app is needed, sometimes an existing solution needs development, and sometimes someone is needed to help shape an idea and move a project forward.
App development is at the heart of Lujamo, but a good result often also depends on ideas, planning, collaboration and careful project delivery. That is why we want to be involved throughout the development journey, wherever needed.
In the name Lujamo, “luja” conveys reliability, durability and careful work. “Mo” evokes a place where things are made and built. To us, Lujamo is a place where needs become ideas and ideas become working apps and solutions.
